Rental Policy

Welcome to Rental Cars Mongolia. Please read our rental policies carefully before booking. By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Insurance & Coverage

All vehicles come with comprehensive insurance, including third-party liability and collision coverage.
Insurance does not cover damages resulting from reckless driving, off-road misuse (unless specified), driving under the influence, or violation of Mongolian traffic laws.
A refundable security deposit is required prior to rental. This covers potential minor damage, traffic fines, or fuel discrepancies.

2. Booking & Payment

To confirm your booking, we require 50% payment upfront. The remaining 50% is due upon receiving the vehicle. We accept major credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and approved digital wallets.
Prices include: daily rental fee, full insurance, airport/hotel delivery in Ulaanbaatar, and customer support.
Rates do not include fuel, tolls, traffic fines, or damage due to misuse.

3. Pickup & Delivery

Delivery and pickup are available at Chinggis Khaan International Airport, central Ulaanbaatar hotels, and select other locations.
We manage all coordination with local car owners—no direct contact is required from you.
All cars are cleaned, inspected, and delivered with a full tank of fuel unless otherwise stated.

4. Driver & License Requirements

Delivery and pickup are available at Chinggis Khaan InternaMinimum driver age: 21 years
Valid international driving permit (IDP) or driver’s license in Latin script is required.
The renter must be the same person listed on the booking and the one who picks up the vehicle.ational Airport, central Ulaanbaatar hotels, and select other locations.

5. Use of Vehicle

Vehicles may be used on both paved roads and appropriate countryside routes. Off-road driving (e.g., in deserts, rivers, mountains) is only permitted for designated 4×4 vehicles.
Vehicles may not be used for:

Racing or speed testing
Transporting illegal goods
Subletting or commercial purposes

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Free cancellation up to 7 days before the rental start date.
50% refund if canceled between 3–6 days before the start date.
No refund if canceled within 48 hours of pickup, or for no-shows.
Security deposits are fully refundable within 3–5 business days after safe return of the vehicle.

7. Breakdowns & Support

In the event of a breakdown, contact us immediately via WhatsApp or phone.
We provide 24/7 English-speaking support for mechanical issues, flat tires, battery problems, or emergencies.
Replacement vehicles may be provided based on availability.

8. Fuel & Cleanliness

Cars are delivered with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank.
A cleaning fee may apply if the car is returned excessively dirty (mud, smoke, pet hair, etc.).

9. Traffic Fines & Violations

The renter is responsible for all traffic violations, speeding fines, and tolls incurred during the rental period.
Any fines issued after return will be deducted from the deposit or billed separately.
